As you may have surmised by now, I am a graduate student in Communication Disorders and Science, the precursor to becoming a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Well, truth be told, I'm not a grad student just yet. I received my acceptance letter about a month ago, and will be starting my coursework in September.
My goal, while on this journey, is to document as much of the process as possible here. I do this for two reasons, the first of which is purely selfish. When I'm done, I hope to have created a personal reference for myself of all the information I learned, and experiences I enjoyed. This, of course, lends itself to the second reason for this blog. I am far from the first CDS grad student, and I certainly won't be the last. Just as I have learned from the various websites and blogs of those who have gone before me, I hope to lend a hand to those who follow.
To that end, I will be sharing resources, links, and hopefully video blogging whenever possible. We'll see how well I do with this. Whatever the result, welcome.
